The problem

People choosing where to retire compare places on impressions and one or two headline numbers. The real difference sits in housing, healthcare, and state tax interacting — and that comparison is tedious to do by hand.

The approach

Every destination is scored from one normalized cost model so the comparison is apples to apples, and each top-line number opens into the categories behind it. Projections state their assumptions instead of hiding them.

The result

A side-by-side comparison a non-analyst can act on, with a drilldown for anyone who wants to check the math.

Inside the app

Real screens with branding blurred, or reproduced with anonymized data — no client names, logos, or user identities.

Origin vs. destination side by side: income, property, and sales tax resolved into one comparable total burden and net income.
Composition drilldown and the ranked top-ten states scored against the same profile inputs.
State ranking cards: score, income, property, and sales tax rates on one normalized scale.
